First of all, this post isn't to promote the sale we're running.
(Ending September 30th)
Well... Maybe a little.
But the main purpose is to show support for those less able to do the things that the rest of us take for granted and to see if we could help just a little.
There are a few good brands out there that sell more accessible bathrooms- and a whole lot of bad ones- but I'm only going to touch on two of the good ones today.
Keuco are a high end bathroom manufacturer whose Plan Care range is dedicated to helping make bathrooms more accessible. My personal favourite in the range is a folding shower seat that hangs on a shower rail which doubles as a grab rail. It is easy to remove the seat from the rail if it is not needed.
The best part about the seat is that the shower rail it hangs on can be integrated with the shower slider rail. So not only is it practical, it's also stylish.
Viega have come out with the Eco Plus element. This can adjust the height of the WC with just the push of a button. The toilet can be adjusted up to 80 mm every time you use it without the need for any manual adjustments. All the technology is behind a square glass panel at the back of the toilet so the aesthetic is not compromised. As the seat is able to move it will make it easier for those who find it hard to get onto a traditional height toilet.
Well, I think that's enough to think about for today.
Thanks for listening, well reading, but you know what I mean.
P.S. Congratulations to Team GB on their performance in the Paralympics! 147 total medals!
