Italy is well-known for many things: their boot-shaped country, the Leaning Tower of Pisa, and the many various aspects of Rome. In addition to these, Italy is credited with the immaculate quality and design of their glass. Glass Design Italy is no exception.
Founded in 1984, Glass Design Italy adds artistic flair to all their products by master artisans whilst using a wide range of materials including following:
With exclusive collections created from pure crystal with a 24% lead content, Glass Design opts to employ a traditional method when forming their crystal bowls, preferring a mouth-blown process bevelled in stone versus the use of machine and technology.
One type of glass, Murano glass (aptly named from its creation on the island of Murano), has a rich history of mouth-blown creation and artistic design.
The most valuable marble in the world and the same material used to create Michelangelo’s David, Calacatta marble presents itself with a white crystalline structure and full-bodied veins.
Stone resin combined with glass pigments allow for a full range of colours from transparent to any RAL colour. Offering a great degree of strength, these items are much more durable than many alternatives.
Remarkable innovation with silicone materials offers a near-elastic quality that can retain its shape and can withstand extreme. Kid-friendly, this material is soft to the touch. Adult-friendly, the material is water-repellent.
Other materials used by Glass Design include a range of polymers, aluminium alloy and stainless steel.
Complementary brassware made in conjunction with DornBracht and an equally impressive assortment of accessories designed to impress make Glass Design a statement with every piece.
Aromabath is updating its collection of bowls from Glass Design to complement the Kalahari in silver and black currently on display. As part of the Florence Glass Atelier project, a range focussing on the fusion of contemporary trends to crystal material, Aromabath is adding the Orma 40 in on-trend bronze matt, the Metropole Katino in a stunning anthracite finish and the Gala 44 in a brilliant gold leaf.
As a showstopping centrepiece, Aromabath will display the Volѐ Sole, an exclusive bowl from the Cristallo de’ Medici range that is entirely manmade with no machine or technological process being used.
But we’re not done yet. We will also be displaying the Tondo Plus with a black matt metal washstand that cradles the gold leaf basin whilst also providing a modicum of storage with two integrated towel bars. With a complementing shelf, this will be a WOW every time you enter the bathroom.
Glass Design Italy – for the ultimate in luxury!
Never has luxury been so clear-cut.
Excellent designs produced by Will who listened carefully to what we wanted and delivered on time and in budget. Will's attention to detail and customer service is best in class. Bob the owner was also hands on providing guidance and experience throughout the process. Excellent teamwork and support provided by Con and William as well. Danny helped source finance options/solutions to complete the project.
Cannot recommend Aromabath enough! They have an amazing personalised service to make sure you get everything you want/need. Everyone there is really friendly and welcoming. They also have the latest technology/designs etc. which I found really useful.
I most definitely recommend this store to anyone who is considering having their bathroom renovated. Good quality products, price were slightly high on certain things which you would expect anyway as they only sell high quality goods. They had some great offers on also. Service was fantastic, and there is no pressure selling what so ever. Thank you for such a pleasant service, will be ordering a basin vanity from them tomorrow and potentially some other bits and bobs.
We recently used Aromabath for the complete supply and fit-out of 5 en-suites and a cloakroom in a complete home refurbishment. The service we received from the moment we walked in was like no other. Bob (Proprietor) as well all of the sales and design staff were extremely helpful (and patient!) in designing all of the en-suites and cloakroom for us. We wanted each en-suite to have a unique design and colour theme. They worked tirelessly to ensure this was achieved by using sanitary ware, brassware and tiling to achieve a unique look for each en-suite. Some en-suites were restricted in terms of size and the location of the windows and door and again they worked around these in the design phase to optimise the space.
They appreciated the cloakroom was one of the main bathrooms that would be visible to guests/outsiders and so were able to provide a completely unique and modern look for this.
In summary, we were extremely happy with the products and the service and would have no hesitation in recommending Aroma Bath.
** Excellent Service from Aromabath **
We first used Aromabath in 2009 and were so impressed with the wide range of great products, the design service and good after sales service that we used them again on a much larger project in 2017 with bathrooms for a development in East London. We used them again very recently on a high end development in Loughton. Great unbiased advice with good design ideas by people who have an extremely good knowledge of the products with a passion and a positive mind-set to work with the customer and contractor to keep with the deadlines.
** Highly Recommended **
